Purpose of the Report

To enable appointments to Committees and Outside Bodies to be considered. |
2.0 North Yorkshire Health and Wellbeing Board
2.1 The Board comprises statutory and non-statutory Members. There are a number of core statutory Members, such as the Director of Health and Adult Services; Director of Public Health; Director of Children and Young People’s Service; the NHS and Healthwatch, North Yorkshire.
2.2 There have been a number of changes to the Membership – both statutory and non-statutory.
Statutory Members
2.3 Clinical Commissioning Groups have been dissolved as a result of the Health and Care Act 2022. They have been replaced by Integrated Care Boards (ICBs). There are two ICBs that cover North Yorkshire – Humber and North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire.
2.4 Humber and North Yorkshire ICB will be represented by Amanda Bloor, its Chief Operating Officer and Wendy Balmain, the Place Director for North Yorkshire. West Yorkshire ICB will be represented by Nancy O’Neill, MBE., Chief Operating Officer, Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership, with Ali Jan Haider, Strategic Director of Keeping Well at Home, her designated substitute.
Non statutory Members
2.5 Jonathan Coulter, Chief Executive of Harrogate District NHS Foundation Trust, has been nominated as the representative of Acute and Community Hospital Trusts, with Foluke Ajayi, Chief Executive of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, as his designated substitute.
2.6 Lisa Winward, Chef Constable of North Yorkshire Police, has been nominated as the representative of the Emergency Services with Jonathan Dyson, Chief Fire Officer, as her designated substitute.
2.7 Zoe Campbell, Managing Director for North Yorkshire, York and Selby Care Group, has been nominated as the designated substitute for Brent Kilmurray, Chief Executive of Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust, who is the representative of Mental Health Trusts.
2.8 John Pattinson, Operations Director, Independent Care Group, has been nominated as the designated substitute for Mike Padgham, Chief Executive of the Independent Care Group, who is the representative of Care Providers.

Recommendation
That the Executive note changes to the statutory membership of the North Yorkshire Health and Wellbeing Board as stated in paragraph 2.3, above.
That the Executive recommend to the Council that the nominations for non statutory Members of the Board, referred to in paragraphs 2.4 to 2.7, above, be approved. |
